Super Digestivas Enzimas PROBIOTIC

What happens during digestion?

Of course, the first step in the process of digesting food is to put it in your mouth and chew it, but your teeth don’t do all the work here.

During this process, the salivary glands also moisten the food so that it can flow down the esophagus more easily when swallowing.

Super Digestivas Enzimas PROBIOTIC, allows a better function during digestion

After the food travels down the esophagus, it reaches the lower esophageal sphincter, a muscle that relaxes, allowing the food to pass into the stomach.

The stomach muscles then mix the food with the digestive juices, and glands in the stomach lining produce enzymes and stomach acid that further break down the food.

The food then passes through the small and large intestines. In the small intestine, digested nutrients and water are absorbed into the bloodstream, and in the large intestine, liquid waste is converted into feces, which enters the rectum.

The rectum, located at the bottom of the large intestine, stores feces until it is expelled during defecation.

How long does the entire digestion process usually take?

The time it takes for food to be digested – from the time it is put into the mouth to the time it is expelled – depends on many factors.

There are many factors that can affect the time difference between people, but most importantly, the type of food consumed plays an important role.

High-fiber foods can speed up digestion. Also, simpler foods (such as unprocessed foods) are easier to digest because it is more difficult for the body to break down the complex chemicals in processed foods.

Complex sugars, high-fat foods, and protein foods take longer to digest.

There are several factors that can affect the digestive system, not all of which necessarily cause it to slow down or speed up, but these are not the only signs that something is wrong.

The most common are cancer, heartburn, lactose intolerance and irritable bowel syndrome.

If you suspect that your digestive system is not working properly, such as having regular diarrhea or constipation, you should see your doctor to find out what might be causing the problem.

If you are concerned that something is wrong, your family doctor may refer you to a gastroenterologist, who will do a full examination to determine what is causing the problems with your digestive system. The good news is that many digestive problems can be managed through lifestyle changes.
